The "Off the Rails" songwriting contest was a huge success! Musicians from all over the world joined together and collaborated on hundreds of songs using the Kompoz.com platform to honor Rudy's book "Off the Rails" and the late, great, guitar hero Randy Rhoads. Thousands of fans listened to each song and voted for their favorites using the Ourstage platform. The winners and links to their award winning songs are below.

Rudy Sarzo personally chose Bjorn Pehrson of Sweden & Mike Gervasi of Massachusetts as the "Grand Prize" winners of the "Off the Rails" song writing contest! Listen here...

Carlos Enriquez of Peurto Rico is the "People's Choice" winner on OurStage.com. Listen here...

"Best Guitar Solo" was performed by Keith O'Connor of Minnesota. Hermidia Audio provided killer custom pedals for this prize. Listen here...

"Mega Fan" went to Larry Reel (BlindDogDay) of Arizona for voting on the most songs.

Rudy wanted to give a nod to Stuart, Brannon, Francisco, Pascal, and Scott for The Rhoad Back Home, to Mat for Thin Ice, and to Graham for SarzJam1.

Congratulations everyone for your excellent work.
